week 5

The IM problems presentation

We did our first presentation today morning it was about IM information management system problems and did very well , the topic drove us crazy at first but after we change our method to find the problems to use our experience specially in CMS and support these with some solutions we know or find via research in the internet, i died - fall a sleep - at first in amirul's room because i was tired then amirul died of course we waked up early in the morning preparing for the main job because we want to present something deserves the effort , in general that was awesome i feel satisfied after all what we do.

my group members in these presentation : amirul asyraf , lai huysan , farahanim , mayidah and asma they all were so friendly and we enjoyed working together, I and amirul asyraf who present and explain .
now i can say i got more information about CMS and the other information systems it's really interesting world IT makes every thing easy and difficult in the same time but for me it's much easier i like it that way , every problem has solutions sooner or later but we also have to believe that it's man-made not god-made so expect anything and be up to date .

also we got to know the types of Information Management like CMS,LMS, and RS and examples of each one and the functions, and by the presentation we made every body

Cloud computing

It's completely true that if we don't know we won't appreciate what ever in the besides. at least those who are a little bit close from technology news have heard about the cloud computing the cloud technology, but how much do we know about cloud technology ? these question suppose to be like these " what is cloud technology ? ", however it takes me few minutes to get an idea about this cloud but i still waiting for the rain that is bless us somehow, I mean we specially those who are interested in these part of the world to get nice view about what is cloud technology and why cloud technology as well as how the cloud technology will change the world in the next few years as the changes already start taking place since time ago.

I'm not that expert in these but i have read about it and I have gotten to use it and my first web site is in the cloud hahaha sounds wearied but it's the fact, lets get into the point, in general if you want to use a specific software you will have to install it that's clear and if you want to open a company in any field you will have to buy a lot of stuff servers maybe to store you data documents and so on and you will have to new software and all that will cost you millions of dollar, but the cloud technology is going to change this concept and more.

Let's imagine that every single peace of information can be stored in the internet and it can be shareable as will as editable be you who you permit, no need to install software in your computer for office such Microsoft office word, PowerPoint and excel all what you have to do is get access to the internet from any device laptop, i pad, tablet, server, phone or desktop PC and use every thing you need including using software in no need to install.
This is the very simple view about the cloud where every thing is floating in the net, it's not a technology for future it's technology of now, my laptop backup and files that i'm using now can be stored in the cloud as well as my web site '' http://www.humaniversity.co.cc/ '' .
The point is what i can get from all these technology as it seemed concern the companies more than individuals, that's quite right but the least benefit that you can get is to backup your files in the cloud or to establish your web site in the cloud, i that since you have nothing to lose just time to spent surfing and trying, so go a head start using this cloud and be hungry to know more and more their might be an opportunity needs some one to figure it out .

Data integrity and information


Data integrity mean to what degree data is correct and In computing, data integrity refers to maintaining and assuring the accuracy and consistency of data over its entire life cycle .
Garbage in, garbage out (abbreviated to GIGO, possibly intended to parallel the phrase first-in, first-out) is a phrase in the field of computer science or information and communication technology.

It is used primarily to call attention to the fact that computers will unquestioningly process the most nonsensical of input data ("garbage in") and produce nonsensical output ("garbageout").

Since that we can not create correct information from incorrect data, Data integrity become important for the use of the information for example in Decision making.

Information Technology concept

-IT (information technology) is a term that encompasses all forms of technology used to create, store, exchange, and use information in its various forms. 

-Any computer-based tool that people used to work with information and to support the information and information-processing needs of an organization.

Information technology architecture:
A map or plan of the information assets in an organization.
Integrates entire organization business needs for information, infrastructure and applications.

REFLECTION 

WEEK 1

The first week was a little bit tough it was my first time to use these thing blog i was have no idea about how to publish or right posts , all what i was know is that people use blogs like there soft dairies i mean instead of using text book to write about there ideas thoughts what ever and share all that in the net with other people from all over the world , it sounds good but not for me although i find that it's good idea to share my opinions thoughts with others but i stuck with unknown fears it makes me think about if it's safe to do so or if i really want to do so but i never go on these way - answering my self or think more about '' blog '' - .
however, now it becomes  a task to make a blog since these blog is my portfolio for my ICT subject which is '' introduction to IT '' information technology '' which suppose to be submitted by the 10th week .In the lecture we got to know about the difference between data and information as shown below :

Data:

1. Small portion of information is called data.
2. It is the raw fact of information.
3. Data shows small information.
4. It is used as input.
5. Data is the vital resource of an organization and must be managed.

Information:

1. Processed data is called information.
2. It is the collective result of data.
3. Information shows the details.
4. It is used as output.
5. It is a meaningful set of data.
